GFFT knows today’s farmers need a range of ways to learn. Whether focusing on food safety, wholesale market opportunities, urban agriculture or the latest in government regulations, GFFT has the insights, skills and experience to provide critical guidance to farmers across the United States. We’ve recently expanded our activities to introduce a new program focused on urban agriculture, recognizing that many communities don’t have access to healthy produce.

Provided in partnership with local educational and community organizations, our “classic” farmer training modules prepare farmers to bring food safely to market, manage their business and create new opportunities for success. Our experienced trainers bring their experience and knowledge to life in these small-group sessions, held close to where farmers work every day.

URBAN AG COHORT
Focusing on garden education and supporting local communities, our newest cohort program brings local urban agriculture entrepreneurs together to learn. Participants discuss concerns, learn from experts and develop the skills needed to launch and manage a successful business, all in a collaborative model that provides applicable learnings and insights.
